On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, a prayer and iftar mahfil was held at the initiative of BNP in Wards 8 and 9 of Boali Union under Kaliakoir Police Station in Gazipur to pray for the recovery of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.
Alhaj Kazi Sayedul Alam Babul, Organizing Secretary of the BNP Central Committee (Dhaka Division), was present as the chief guest at the event organized on Thursday (March 13, 2025).
Local BNP leaders, leaders and activists of the organiza- tions and dignitaries of the area were present at the event. The prayer mahfil prayed for the good health and long life of Begum Khaleda Zia and special prayers were held for the overall peace and welfare of the country.
