Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology and Science and Technology Fakir Mahbub Anam has instructed top officials to ensure that state-owned mobile operator Teletalk shows visible progress in a short time. Addressing the officials, he said that effective steps should be taken to ensure that people get improved services from Teletalk during this government.
The minister gave this instruction at a view-exchange meeting held at the Teletalk office in Gulshan in the capital on Wednesday (February 24, 2026). Ministry’s advisor Rehan Asif Asad was present at the time.
The minister said, we want to be a people-friendly government by quickly implementing the Prime Minister’s promises. We want visible development of Teletalk services. The Prime Minister is working to implement her plans and vision for the welfare of the people, Teletalk will also have to work accordingly to improve the quality of services.
Advisor Rehan Asif Asad said, everyone must work together to implement the Prime Minister’s promises as soon as possible. In this regard, the ministry will provide all-out cooperation.
During the exchange of views, they reviewed various issues related to the organization’s ongoing service activities, network expansion, digital service development and customer service quality improvement.
Posts and Telecommunications Department Secretary Abdun Naser Khan, Teletalk Managing Director Nurul Mabud Chowdhury and other senior officials were present at the exchange of views.
