Disaster Management and Relief Minister Asadul Habib Dulu said that the district administration is the main driving force for the implementation of the government’s development programs at the field level. Similarly, the effective role of the police administration in maintaining law and order ensures the safety of the people. Therefore, I urge you to fulfill your responsibilities with utmost sincerity to ensure transparency, accountability and people-friendly administration. Gaining people’s trust is the main goal of the current government.
The minister said these things in a speech as the chief guest to government officials at the conference room of the Rangpur Divisional Commissioner’s Office on Monday (February 23, 2026).
The minister said that Rangpur Division has been facing various challenges for a long time. We have to work collectively to alleviate poverty, create employment, develop infrastructure, increase agricultural production, and improve the quality of education and healthcare in this region. Only the dedication, honesty and sincerity of everyone can ensure the successful implementation of this initiative.
The Minister expressed hope that with joint efforts, Rangpur Division will move further on the path of development and progress and the government’s development programs will be successfully implemented. The Disaster Management Minister urged the officials to contribute to building a developed and prosperous country by being dedicated to the welfare of the people.
The meeting was chaired by Rangpur Divisional Commissioner Md. Shahidul Islam ndc, and was attended by the Deputy Commissioners, Superintendents of Police and divisional and district level officials of the districts of the division.
