Information and Broadcasting Minister inquires about journalists injured in attack by miscreants at Pagla Mosque

Information and Broadcasting Minister Zahir Uddin Swapan inquired about journalists injured in attack by miscreants at Pagla Mosque in Kishoreganj while gathering news. The Information Minister inquired about the injured journalists over the phone today.

He also spoke to local MP Mazharul Islam on the issue.

The Information Minister directed the Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police of Kishoreganj to ensure appropriate punishment for the culprits and provide security to the journalists injured in the attack. At that time, the Deputy Commissioner informed the Information Minister that two of the attackers have already been arrested.

It is worth noting that miscreants attacked the journalists when they went to Pagla Mosque for gathering news on March 5.
