Government to provide necessary assistance to plane crash victims

A regular meeting of the Advisory Council was held at the office of the Chief Advisor on Thursday morning (July 24, 2025). At the beginning of the meeting, a condolence motion was adopted in memory of those killed in the plane crash at Milestone School and College, a minute of silence was observed to respect their souls, and prayers were offered seeking forgiveness for the souls of the deceased.

It has been decided to provide all necessary assistance to the families of the victims and the injured in the tragic accident. To this end, the Ministry of Education will discuss with the school authorities and determine the next steps.

Today, in the meeting of the Advisory Council, it was decided to give state honors to the two teachers of the school who died. The details of this honor will be determined very soon.

It has been decided to hold special prayers in all religious institutions tomorrow, seeking forgiveness for the souls of the victims and the recovery of the injured. The Ministry of Religion will make necessary coordination in this regard.
