Representatives from the Trade and Investment Department of the British High Commission in Dhaka paid a courtesy visit to the Acting President of the Sylhet Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Fayez Hasan Ferdous, on Wednesday (March 12).
The meeting took place at 1:00 PM at the Sylhet Chamber office, where Deputy Director of Trade and Investment, Mr. Saiyab Ahmed, and Trade and Investment Officer, Mr. Md. Delwar Hossain, were present.
During the courtesy meeting, the representatives discussed various aspects of enhancing bilateral trade relations between Bangladesh and the United Kingdom, as well as increasing trade and investment opportunities between the two countries.
Also present at the meeting were the Secretary of the Sylhet Chamber, Mr. Md. Golam Akhter Faruq, along with other officials. Both parties emphasized the importance of fostering commercial cooperation and creating new investment opportunities.
