Bangladesh Olympic Association organizes Olympic Day Run 2025

Bangladesh Olympic Association President and Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman inaugurated the Olympic Day Run on the occasion of the founding anniversary of the International Olympic Committee.

He inaugurated the Olympic Day Run at the Shishu Academy premises in the capital early on Tuesday (June 24). It started from Shishu Academy and ended at Dhaka Stadium via Abdul Gani Road, GPO. Athletes, organizers and sports enthusiasts participated in the procession organized by the Bangladesh Olympic Association under the banners of various federations.

Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman said that the Olympic Day Run is being organized to practice brotherhood, harmony, unity and discipline.

He also said that sports should be spread across the country and physical exercise should be continued. The number of fields in Dhaka is decreasing day by day. Due to which there is no space for sports. The army chief also said that this type of activity will continue.
