With the aim of further strengthening and expanding mutual cooperation between Bangladesh and the United States, US Ambassador to Bangladesh Brent T. Christensen paid a courtesy call on Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister and BNP National Standing Committee member Dr. Abdul Moin Khan.
The meeting was held in the office of the Minister of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives on Monday (August 24) morning.
The meeting brought together fruitful discussions on further strengthening the mutual partnership between Bangladesh and the United States, as well as various possibilities for cooperation in the local government and development sectors. They exchanged views, especially on development activities at the local level, expansion of cooperation, and various issues of mutual interest of the two countries.
State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Mir Shahe Alam was present at the time.
