BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman attended the main Eid-ul-Azha congregation at Kingsmeadow Stadium in Kingston, UK. The congregation was held at 10:30 am local time on Friday (June 6).
Tarique Rahman was accompanied by UK BNP General Secretary Qaysor M Ahmed, Ziaur Rahman Foundation Europe Coordinator Kamal Uddin and other leaders of the organization. His wife Dr. Zobaida Rahman and Syeda Shamila Rahman, wife of the late Arafat Rahman Koko, also attended the same congregation.
After the prayers, Tarique Rahman participated in the prayer, wishing for peace, prosperity and welfare of the country, nation and the entire Muslim Ummah. Later, he exchanged Eid greetings and good wishes with the leaders and activists present and hugged them.
