IGP puts rank badge on promoted Additional IG Md. Iqbal Hossain

Desk Report:

Dhaka Range DIG Md. Iqbal Hossain was recently promoted to the post of Additional IG. On the occasion of the promotion, his rank badge was put on at the Police Headquarters on Monday (24 August 2026) morning.

At the ceremony, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Bangladesh Police Md. Ali Hossain Fakir and Additional IG (Administration) AKM Awlad Hossain put on the rank badge of the new rank on the promoted Additional IG Md. Iqbal Hossain.

Senior police officials were present at the ceremony.
