The Ministry of Youth and Sports, on behalf of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, extended its warmest greetings and heartfelt congratulations to all the players, coaches and officials of the Bangladesh women’s kabaddi team for their brilliant 51-34 points victory over Thailand in the Asian Beach Kabaddi 2026.
In his congratulatory message, the State Minister said that this victory by a margin of 17 points is not just the result of a match, but rather it is a reflection of the girls’ indomitable courage, hard work and fighting mentality. He mentioned that the way the players raised the red-green flag on the sand has made the entire nation proud.
The State Minister further said that every raid and tackle of the players has proven that the country’s women are ready to face any challenge in the field of sports. He expressed strong optimism and said that this victory will interest thousands of young women in the country in kabaddi and pave the way for greater success in the future. He also mentioned in the message that the team’s dedication and team spirit will be an inspiration for the new generation.
He expressed hope that the team will continue its winning streak and make Bangladesh’s name shine brighter in Asia.
