He said this at a ceremony held on Saturday (April 25, 2026) morning after laying the foundation stone of the third building of the Biam Foundation located in the New Eskaton area of ​​the capital.

The Prime Minister said that to build the desired Bangladesh, there is no alternative to building talent-based, efficient and people-friendly public administration in all state institutions. He emphasized that an effective administration is the main foundation of building a developed state.

Praising the role of Biam Foundation, he said that the progress of the institution since its inception till today proves that the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) government has always been committed to building an efficient and trained public administration.

He also said that in order to build a modern and prosperous state, the bureaucracy must become more people-oriented. He laid special emphasis on training officials to develop themselves as servants of the people.

After laying the foundation stone, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman inspected the activities of the Biam Foundation and exchanged views with officials. Senior government officials, cabinet members and eminent personalities were present at the event.
