Standard Chartered Bangladesh, JBCCI, and JETRO Dhaka Jointly Organize Seminar

On Sunday (February 02, 2025) Standard Chartered Bangladesh (SCB), the Japan Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JBCCI), and JETRO Dhaka jointly organized a seminar titled “Exchange Session on JVCA Guidelines, Trade Agreements & Investment Facilitation.” The event, held at The Westin Dhaka, brought together participants from JBCCI, JETRO, Shoo-Koo-Kai, Bangladesh Bank (the Central Bank of Bangladesh), JICA Bangladesh, the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), and representatives from other esteemed organizations.

The seminar focused on discussions around Joint Venture Capital Agreement (JVCA) guidelines, trade agreements, and investment facilitation. Participants engaged in in-depth conversations about improving the investment climate in Bangladesh, exploring potential opportunities for Japanese companies, and strengthening bilateral trade relations.
