The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exams are starting across the country from Wednesday (April 10, 2025). About 19 lakh 28 thousand students are taking part in this important public exam, which will start simultaneously at 10 am, and they are appearing for the exam under 11 education boards of the country.
The exam starts with the Bangla first paper, which is the first in the exam schedule every year. The written exam will continue until May 13. After that, the practical exam will be held from May 15 to 22.
The Ministry of Education has taken strict security and surveillance measures around the exam. A cheating-free, rumor-free and fair exam environment has been ensured. Law enforcement agencies have already been activated to prevent any irregularities such as question paper leaks or attempts at cheating. The Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has given strict instructions – strict action will be taken against those who resort to any unfair means.
