The results of the current year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exams have been released. This year, the average pass rate in 11 education boards in the country is 62.25 percent. 1 lakh 16 thousand 676 students have obtained GPA-5.
Today, Monday (August 10, 2026) at 10 am, the Minister of Education and Primary and Mass Education Dr. ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon officially released the results at a press conference organized at the Secretariat.
After the results were released, the results were made available to students simultaneously from 10 am on the websites of all education boards in the country, related educational institutions and through SMS.
This year, a total of 18 lakh 57 thousand 344 candidates participated in the SSC and equivalent exams under the country’s 9 general education boards, Madrasa Education Board and Technical Education Board. Of these, 9,30,305 are male students and 9,27,39 are female students.
This time, students from 30,666 educational institutions participated in the SSC and equivalent examinations at a total of 3,885 centers across the country.
Last year, the average pass rate for the SSC and equivalent examinations was 68.45 percent. Accordingly, the pass rate this year has decreased by 6.20 percentage points compared to last year.
In addition to collecting the results through their respective educational institutions, students can also know the results through the website of the concerned education board and SMS on mobile phones.
