Prime Minister Tarique Rahman paid a courtesy call on Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh Ameer Allama Shah Muhibullah Babunagri.
The meeting was held at Al-Jamiatul Islamia Azizul Uloom Babunagri Madrasa in Fatikchhari, Chittagong on Sunday (August 9).
During the meeting, the Prime Minister and the Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh Ameer exchanged views on various issues. Later, the Prime Minister participated in a reception and exchange of views organized at the Madrasa premises.
Earlier, when the Prime Minister reached Jamia Babunagri Madrasa, there was great enthusiasm among the students to welcome the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister also exchanged greetings with the students and responded to their greetings by shaking hands.
