A fruitful meeting was held at the Brunei High Commission in Dhaka to expedite the immigration process of Bangladeshi workers to Brunei and increase the number of workers sent to the country.
The meeting held today (August 9, 2026) was attended by Brunei Darussalam High Commissioner Haji Haris bin Haji Osman and Bangladesh Overseas Employment and Services Limited (BOESL) Managing Director Mohammad Rashedul Haque.
The meeting discussed expanding employment opportunities for Bangladeshi workers in Brunei, sending skilled manpower, and further strengthening labor market-related cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, both sides positively exchanged views on making the process of sending Bangladeshi workers to Brunei faster and more effective, as well as the possibility of sending more workers in the future.
