The capital’s elite hotel Sheraton Dhaka, in collaboration with Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB), has organized the popular seafood festival ‘Coastal Carnival 2026’. A press conference was recently organized at Sheraton Dhaka to highlight the special arrangements and food variety of the festival.
The event was attended by the Chief Guests of the event, H.E. Gabriel Maria Cistiaga Ochoa de Chinchetru, Ambassador of Spain to Bangladesh, and Haji Haris bin Haji Osman, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam.
Also present were Md. Shakawat Hossain, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Unique Hotels & Resorts PLC—the company that owns The Westin Dhaka, Sheraton Dhaka, and HANSA – A Premium Residence; Md. Shafqat Hossain, General Manager of The Westin Dhaka and Sheraton Dhaka Gary Forstad, Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing Md. Mamunur Rahman, along with local and foreign guests and media personnel.
International and local renowned master chefs are participating in the ‘Coastal Carnival 2026’. Among them are Rimun Obaid, Sait Dursan, Hiromi Yonekawa, Chef Mahbubur Rashid Akhand and Chef Dulak Pal. They are presenting special recipes and unique flavors of seafood from different countries.
The price of this seafood buffet dinner organized at The Garden Kitchen of Sheraton Dhaka has been set at 9,950 taka (net) per person. The festival will continue until July 18, 2026.
