On Wednesday (5 March 2025), Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. launched its new website. On this occasion, an inauguration ceremony was organized at the Board Meeting Room of the Bank’s Corporate Head Office.
At the event, Mr. A. K. Azad, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC., was present as the chief guest and inaugurated the new website of the bank. The new website of the bank has been developed using cutting-edge technology to ensure improved user experience and greater performance.
The dynamic, secure and informative new website will serve as an information hub for the bank’s current and potential customers as part of the ongoing digital transformation initiative, which will be enriched with information on all the digital and innovative services of the bank. The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, Managing Director of the bank.
The Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank, Mr. Mohammad Yunus, Directors Mr. Md. Sanaullah Shahid, Mr. Md. Abdul Barek, Mr. Akkach Uddin Molla, Engineer Md. Towhidur Rahman, Mr. Fakir Akhtaruzzaman, Mr. Md. Mashiur Rahman Chamak, Independent Directors Mr. Ekramul Haque, Mr. Nasir Uddin Ahmed and Mr. Md. Riazul Karim were present as special guests at the event. In addition, Deputy Managing Directors of the Bank Mr. Imtiaz U. Ahmed and Mr. M. M. Saiful Islam, Company Secretary of the Bank Mr. Md. Abul Bashar, CFO Mr. Md. Zafar Sadek, FCA and Head of IT Department and CTO Ms. Khandaker Bedoura Mahbub were present.
