On 25 February, the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) in Bangladesh hosted a special screening of the RT documentary “NICA. Made in Russia”, produced by RT. The event brought together students, faculty members, and invited guests interested in science, technology, and international research cooperation.

The documentary highlights the groundbreaking NICA project implemented at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna. The film presents Russia’s advancements in high-energy physics and showcases the collaborative efforts of international scientists working on one of the most ambitious research facilities in the field of particle physics.
The screening at MIST provided participants with insight into modern scientific infrastructure, the role of fundamental research in technological development, and opportunities for international academic cooperation. The audience showed particular interest in the global nature of the NICA project and the prospects it opens for young researchers.

The event concluded with an engaging discussion, during which attendees exchanged views on scientific innovation, education opportunities in Russia, and the importance of strengthening academic ties between Bangladesh and the Russian Federation.
