Sammilito Parishad organized its election office inauguration and doa mahfil

On the occasion of the BGMEA Elections 2025-2027, Sammilito Parishad organized its election office inauguration and doa mahfil in a festive atmosphere today, Saturday (April 19, 2025).

Sammilito Parishad President Kazi Moniruzzaman was present as the chief guest at the event. Also present were former BGMEA President and Chief Coordinator of Sammilito Parishad Election Management Faruk Hasan, former BGMEA President and Co-Coordinator Rafiqul Islam, Panel Leader Abul Kalam Azad and many BGMEA Vice Presidents, Directors and General Members.

BNP leader Zainul Abdin Faruk, Sammilit Parishad chief co-coordinator Rafiqul Islam, former director Shovon Islam, Bangladesh Garments Buying House Association president Mofazzal Hossain Pavel, BGMEA supporting committee member Asif Ashraf, and Bangladesh Apparel Youth Leaders Association (BAYLA) president Abrar Hossain Sayem, among others, spoke at the event.

In the discussion of the event, the speakers highlighted the strong role and leadership achievements of BGMEA and Sammilito Parishad in the expansion and crisis of the garment industry in Bangladesh.

The leaders of the Sammilito Parishad expressed their commitment to present a competent panel on how to tackle the current challenges of the garment industry, especially tariff, LDC graduation, customs, banking, energy and other important issues, and take the garment industry forward.

In the last part of the program, special prayers were conducted for the progress and success of the garment industry and BGMEA.
