Salauddin Chowdhury receives special award at NRB Global Convention for contribution to industry and social security

Eminent industrial entrepreneur and social worker Salauddin Chowdhury and his family received an award in recognition of their special contribution to industry, trade and social security at the NRB Global Convention held at the Sheraton Hotel in the capital.

Bangladesh Bank Governor Mr. Ahsan H. Mansur presented the award as the chief guest at the event. At the event, he congratulated the awardees for their positive contribution to the industry and business sector.

Also present at the event were Sheikh Moinuddin, Assistant to Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus for the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges, and Mr. Enam Uddin Enam, Director of NRB Global Convention, along with many distinguished personalities from home and abroad.

While accepting the award, Salauddin Chowdhury, in his speech, praised the role of Bangladesh Bank in providing policy support to businessmen to protect the country’s economy and expressed his sincere gratitude to Governor Ahsan H. Mansur.

Several renowned domestic and foreign institutions and their heads were also honored at the event for their contributions to industry, trade and social development.
