Salahuddin Ahmed calls for political abuse of Osman Hadi’s death

BNP National Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed has called for no party to politically abuse the death of Shaheed Sharif Osman Hadi.

He made the remarks in response to a question from reporters after attending the funeral prayer of Shaheed Sharif Osman Hadi at the Parliament Building area on Saturday. Salahuddin Ahmed said, “We call on everyone to participate in the funeral prayer peacefully. We have strongly protested and condemned this barbaric murder.”

He also said, “All fascist forces and circles that are conspiring against the election should not use this incident for political gain. I call on all the people of the country to be vigilant so that there is no conspiracy to postpone or thwart the national election.”

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi and BNP Vice Chairman and industrialist Abdul Awal Mintu were also present at the funeral.
