Active presence of the administration in Gazipur to control the situation on the highway to make the Eid journey comfortable

High-level government representatives have visited Chandra area under Kaliakoir police station in Gazipur on the Dhaka-Tangail highway to ensure the safe and smooth journey of people heading home on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr 2026.

Honorable State Minister for the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock Mr. Sultan Salauddin Tuku, Member of Parliament for Gazipur-1 constituency Mr. Md. Mojibur Rahman, DIG of Dhaka Range Mr. Rezaul Karim Mallick and Gazipur Superintendent of Police Mr. Md. Sharif Uddin were present during the inspection.

At that time, they reviewed the overall condition of the road and the current situation of vehicle movement from Chandra area to Nandan Square on the Dhaka-Tangail highway. The concerned officials highlighted various steps taken to reduce traffic congestion during the Eid journey, strengthen traffic management, and ensure the safety of passengers.
