A delegation from the SAARC Journalist Forum, consisting of prominent journalists from Nepal and Bangladesh, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal. The meeting took place at the Embassy of Bangladesh in Kathmandu.
During the visit, the delegation officially handed over the declaration of the 2nd International Mother Tongue Journalist Conference, recently held in Kathmandu. The declaration highlighted key resolutions and commitments aimed at promoting linguistic diversity, cross-border media cooperation, and the protection of journalists working in mother tongues across the South Asian region.
