A training course organized by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) to enhance the skills and professional capabilities of police members on VIP protocol, house guard and important establishment (KPI) security has been inaugurated.
The inaugural ceremony of this training course was held at the DMP Training Academy, Rajarbagh on Sunday (August 23, 2026) at 9 am.
Additional Police Commissioner (Protection and Diplomatic Security) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Md. Abul Bashar Talukder inaugurated the training course as the chief guest.
The training course will provide training on various related subjects including VIP protocol, house guard responsibilities and duties, security of important establishments, security management and enhancing professional skills in performing duties.
It is expected that the knowledge, skills and coordination capacity required to perform security duties of the participating police members will be further enhanced through this training. Besides, this training will play an important role in ensuring the security of VIPs and important installations with professionalism.
The HRD Department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police organized this training course. Officers of various ranks of DMP were present at the inaugural ceremony.
