Russian House in Dhaka Hosts Seminar on Educational Opportunities in Russia

On Wednesday (September 24, 2025) the Russian House in Dhaka held an educational seminar on higher education opportunities in the Russian Federation under the Russian Government quota system for Bangladeshi applicants.

Participants received detailed information about the selection process for higher and additional professional education programs within the Russian government quota, as well as the document submission procedure via the online platform https://education-in-russia.com.

Special attention was paid to Russia’s historical role in developing Bangladesh’s educational sector. Over the years of cooperation, thousands of Bangladeshi students have received education at Russian universities, gaining not only quality knowledge but also valuable international experience.

Dr. Mahamudul Hasan, a graduate of the National Medical Research Center of Oncology named after N.N. Blokhin (Moscow), shared his practical experience of studying in Russia and the prospects offered by Russian education during his presentation.

It was noted that Russia’s higher education system includes over 750 universities and 650 specialties, with approximately 200 quotas allocated for Bangladeshi students in 2026. The application process for the next academic year will continue until January 2026.

Participants also learned about the Russian House’s activities, opportunities to study the Russian language, and participation in various youth programs.
