Gazipur District BNP held an Iftar and Doa Mahfil for the departed souls of martyred President Ziaur Rahman and national leader Late Begum Khaleda Zia and prayed for the long life of BNP Chairman and Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Tarique Rahman.
Gazipur-5 Constituency MP Fazlul Haque Milon (MP) presided over the Iftar and Doa Mahfil organized on Monday (March 9, 2026). Alhaj Kazi Sayedul Alam Babul, Organizing Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of BNP (Dhaka Division), was present as the chief guest at the event.
Gazipur-1 MP Md. Mojibur Rahman (MP), Gazipur-4 MP SM Rafiqul Islam Bachchu (MP), Gazipur District BNP Member Secretary Barrister Chowdhury Ishraq Ahmed Siddiqui, Shah Riazul Hannan and Omar Faruk Shafin were present as special guests.
Gazipur Metropolitan BNP President and Gazipur City Corporation Administrator Shawkat Hossain Sarkar and Gazipur-2 MP M Manjurul Karim Rony (MP) were present as honored guests.
Leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliates participated in the Iftar and Doa Mahfil. Special prayers were offered at the event seeking the eternal peace of the souls of martyred President Ziaur Rahman and Begum Khaleda Zia and peace, development and prosperity of the country.
