Professor Dr. Mosses Naga of India Meets Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor

Professor Dr. Mosses Naga of North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Meghalaya, India, paid a courtesy call on Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Dhaka, on Sunday, 13 July 2025, at the Vice-Chancellor’s residence office.

Professor Dr. Muhammad Mezbah-ul-Islam of the Department of Information Science and Library Management, University of Dhaka, was also present during the meeting.

During the discussion, they explored various issues of mutual interest, with a particular focus on launching collaborative academic and research initiatives between Dhaka University and North Eastern Hill University. They also discussed the possibilities of faculty, student, and researcher exchange programs between the two institutions.

Both parties reached a consensus to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) soon to formalize the proposed cooperation.
