Prime Bank Investment’s MD and CEO pay courtesy call on Malaysian High Commissioner

Syed M. Omar Tayeb, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Prime Bank Investment Limited, paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency Mohammad Shuhada Bin Osman, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Bangladesh, at the Malaysian High Commission in Dhaka.

During the meeting, important discussions were held regarding economic relations between the two countries, particularly focusing on Islamic finance and the capital market. The discussions covered the potential of Islamic finance, investment opportunities, and cooperation in the development of the capital market.

Notably, Malaysia has once again secured the top position in global Islamic finance. In the 2024 Islamic Finance Development Index (IFDI), Malaysia ranked number one, highlighting the country’s strong standing in the Islamic finance sector.
