His Excellency President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has called on the police force to perform its duties with honesty, integrity, impartiality and professionalism to maintain law and order, suppress crime and establish the rule of law in the country.
He made this call when Bangladesh Police IGP Md. Ali Hossain Fakir paid a courtesy call on the President at Bangabhaban on Thursday (September 3).
During the meeting, the President discussed with the IGP the overall law and order situation in the country, crime suppression and various police activities.
