Nepalese Ambassador pays courtesy call on Army Chief

International Desk:

A delegation led by Nepalese Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanshyam Bhandari paid a courtesy call on the Army Chief at the Army Headquarters on Wednesday (25 March 2026).

During the meeting, both sides exchanged greetings and emphasized the need to further strengthen the existing friendly relations between Bangladesh and Nepal. During this time, various issues related to strengthening bilateral relations, regional stability and defense cooperation between the two countries were discussed in detail.

The talks expressed hope for increasing cooperation in matters of mutual interest. In addition, views were exchanged on military training, exchange of experience and the possibility of future joint initiatives.
