Ikramul Hasan Shakil, the successful explorer of the ‘Sea to Summit’ expedition, was felicitated at a special ‘flag-in ceremony’ organized by the Bangla Mountaineering and Trekking Club. Honorable Ghanshyam Bhandari, the Ambassador of Nepal to Bangladesh, was present as the chief guest at the event.
Speaking as the Chief Guest, the Ambassador highlighted the vital role that mountaineers and adventure enthusiasts like Mr. Shakil play in fostering people-to-people connections between Nepal and Bangladesh.
Shakil successfully completed his exceptional 1,372-kilometer trek from sea level to the summit of the Himalayas, setting a unique example.
