Ministry of Housing and Public Works has instructed not to keep any category in the registration of contracting organizations

In order to carry out their procurement and service activities in the fastest possible time and with transparency, the departments/organizations under the Ministry of Housing and Public Works have been instructed not to keep any category (such as A, B, C category) in the registration of new contracting organizations.

In the same letter, the departments/organizations under the Ministry of Housing and Public Works have also been instructed to take activities as per PPR-2008 without keeping any category (such as A, B, C category) in the registration of contracting organizations.

In a letter dated July 29, 2025 signed by Farda Yasamin, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, this instruction has been given to the Capital Development Authority, National Housing Authority, Department of Urban Development, Department of Public Works, Department of Architecture, Chittagong Development Authority, Khulna Development Authority, Rajshahi Development Authority, Cox’s Bazar Development Authority, HBRI, Directorate of Government Housing and Directorate of Internal Audit.
