Md. Mujibur Rahman nominated as BNP’s Gazipur-1 constituency candidate in the upcoming 13th National Parliament election

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has nominated Md. Mujibur Rahman for the Gazipur-1 constituency in the upcoming 13th National Parliament election. He was the former mayor of Kaliakoir Municipality and is currently serving as a member of the BNP’s standing committee.

The names of the candidates were announced by the party’s Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at a press conference at the BNP Chairperson’s political office in Gulshan, the capital, on Thursday (December 4, 2025) afternoon.

In a reaction after receiving the nomination, Md. Mujibur Rahman expressed gratitude to Allah Almighty and expressed deep gratitude to BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.

It is reported that after the announcement of the BNP candidate for the Gazipur-1 constituency, new enthusiasm has been created among the party workers and supporters in the area.
