Shiuneen Rasheed, High Commissioner of the Maldives High Commission in Dhaka, along with diplomatic staff, visited the manufacturing factory of UniMed UniHealth located in Gazipur.
During the visit, UniMed UniHealth officials provided a detailed briefing on the company’s overall operations, products, production process, production capacity and quality control system, including various activities carried out in line with international standards.
During the visit, fruitful discussions were held on expanding trade in the pharmaceutical industry between Maldives and Bangladesh, further strengthening existing cooperation and forging new potential partnerships. Both sides emphasized on increasing bilateral cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector.
As part of the visit, the High Commissioner and his entourage toured various production units of the factory and directly observed the production activities.
