Interactive Business Meeting Held Between Dhaka Chamber and Sri Lankan Chamber of Exporters

An interactive business meeting was held between the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) delegation and the National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka (NCE) on 17 June 2025 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The Bangladesh business delegation led by DCCI President Md. Taskin Ahmed participated in the meeting.

NCE President Indra Kaushal Rajapaksa and NCE Secretary General and CEO Shiham Marikar were present at the meeting. DCCI Senior Vice President Rajiv H. Chowdhury and Vice President Md. Salem Sulaiman also participated in the meeting.

Business leaders from both countries discussed various aspects of mutual trade expansion, investment opportunities and cooperation in export-oriented industries. Participants in the meeting emphasized the important role of the private sector in increasing bilateral trade between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
