Housing and Public Works Minister orders to improve the beauty and cleanliness of Ramna Park

Housing and Public Works Minister Zakaria Taher made a surprise visit to Ramna Park in the capital on Wednesday (June 3, 2026). He toured the roads, walkways, lakes and wash blocks of Ramna Park and inquired about the overall environment, cleanliness and management of the park.

At that time, the minister directed the concerned departments of the Public Works Department to quickly improve the cleanliness of Ramna Park, develop the lake, install necessary street lights and enhance the beauty of the park.

Additional Secretary Md. Sarwar Alam, Chief Engineer of the Public Works Department Md. Khalequzzaman Chowdhury, Deputy Secretary Md. Sher Mahbub Murad and Executive Engineer of the Public Works Department Md. Abul Kalam Azad were present during the inspection.
