Special guests were present were Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs Momtaz Ahmed, Secretary of the Ministry of Labor and Employment Dr. Md. Sanwar Jahan Bhuiyan. The guest of honor was Dr. Andreas Cook, Country Director of GIG. The closing ceremony was presided over by Dr. Nazneen Kawsar Chowdhury, Executive Chairman (Secretary) of NSDA.

The two-day high-level festival celebrated women’s empowerment, skill development and employment. The event highlighted women’s leadership, skills development opportunities and inclusive employment through various panel discussions, workshops and cultural activities.

International experts from Nepal, USA, Austria, Germany and UNICEF shared their experiences on inclusive approaches to women-led technical education and future skills. The discussion will provide guidance to NSDA to increase the participation of young, disadvantaged and vulnerable women in the labor market in Bangladesh.

The festival concluded with a vibrant Marketplace of Ideas and cultural activities celebrating women’s innovation and leadership. At the end of the event, certificates were presented to the participating women entrepreneurs by the chief guest.

Bangladesh has once again proven its national commitment towards women’s skill development and inclusive employment through HERizon Fest 2025.
