Our goal is to implement people’s rights – Deputy Speaker

Deputy Speaker of the Bangladesh National Parliament Barrister Kaiser Kamal MP met with members of the Christian community of his constituency at his office in the Parliament Building. During this time, the Deputy Speaker inquired about everyone’s information and sought everyone’s cooperation in maintaining peace and order in the development of the area.

On Thursday (April 16, 2026), prominent members of the Christian community of his area met with Deputy Speaker of the Bangladesh National Parliament Barrister Kaiser Kamal MP at his office in the Parliament Building. During this time, the Deputy Speaker exchanged greetings with them and discussed various issues.

The Deputy Speaker said, “In my area, everyone of different religions including Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Christians, Garos and Hajongs will be invited to visit the Parliament Building and the Parliament session in phases.” Today you have come, later the Imam delegation, Hindu priest delegation, Garo delegation, Hajong delegation, school and college students, farmers and workers of all classes will be invited in stages so that they can gain their idea about the parliament.

The Deputy Speaker further said, this parliament is the people’s parliament, I was elected by the respected voters of the area and because of them I am able to speak in the parliament today. Therefore, I also have a responsibility to the respected voters. Please pray for me so that I can be successful.
