Dr. Rüdiger Lotz, Ambassador of the German Embassy in Bangladesh, visited the Asian University for Women (AUW) on the third day of his visit to Chittagong. During this time, he toured the university campus and exchanged views with teachers and students.
Since its inception in 2008, AUW has been providing higher education opportunities to students from about 20 countries in Asia. The university is known as an important learning center, especially for students affected by poverty, displacement and political instability.
During the visit, Ambassador Lotz said that AUW’s inclusive education programs and initiatives to support students from diverse backgrounds are in line with Germany’s values—equal opportunities and inclusion. He expressed satisfaction with meeting the talented and talented young women studying on the campus and wished them success in the future.
