The Ambassador of France to Dhaka, His Excellency Mr. Jean-Marc Serre-Charle, visited the Training and Development Center (TDC) of Life Project for Youth (LP4Y) located in Bhashantek area of the capital. During the visit, he participated in an interactive session with marginalized youth and learned about the organization’s ongoing training programs.

The Ambassador visited the homes of three youth living near Bhashantek slum and got to know about their life struggles and skill development journey. He also paid a courtesy call on LP4Y founders, Laure de la Porte and Jean-Marc de la Porte.

Ambassador Serre-Charle highly appreciated the long-standing work of LP4Y and their contribution in making marginalized youth skilled and self-reliant. He said, the organization’s innovative initiatives aimed at including youth in social and professional life are truly inspiring.

Over the years, LP4Y has developed many educational tools and training models that have received international recognition. Even various global organizations, including the United Nations, have praised their work.
Through this TDC of Bhashantech, LP4Y is playing an effective role in creating vocational training, skill development, and employment opportunities for marginalized and at-risk youth in Bangladesh.
