A fire prevention, extinguishing, rescue and emergency evacuation drill (fire drill) was held at Islami Bank Tower, the head office of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC, on Tuesday (5 May 2026).
The bank’s Managing Director (Current Duty) Md. Altaf Hussain, Additional Managing Director Engineer Mohammad Jamal Uddin Majumder, Senior Executive Vice President Md. Aminur Rahman, Head of Safety and Security Department Lt. Col. (Retd) K. F. A. Sohel, and Deputy Assistant Director of Fire Service and Civil Defense Md. Enamul Haque, Senior Station Officers Md. Ruhul Amin and Ashek Al Maruf, along with executives and officers of the bank and fire service were present.
The drill was held with the aim of ensuring safety at work and developing integrated capabilities in emergency situations.
