On Wednesday, March 12, 2025, the 11th of Ramadan, a special prayer and iftar mahfil was held to pray for the soul of the late Md. Erfan Ali, the founding chairman of Erfan Group.
This prayer and iftar mahfil was held in the spontaneous presence of more than a thousand officers, employees and colleagues of the Erfan Group family.
This prayer and iftar mahfil was organized on Wednesday afternoon at the Erfan Group Industrial Park in Atahar, Jhelim Union, Chapainawabganj Sadar Upazila.
The prayer and iftar mahfil, organized under the chairmanship of Md. Mahbub Alam (CIP), Managing Director and CEO of Erfan Group, was attended by the Deputy Commissioner of Chapainawabganj District. Abdus Samad, former MP Md. Latifur Rahman, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md. Naqib Hasan Tarafdar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Md. Anisur Rahman, former Mayors Mohammad Nazrul Islam and Maulana Abdul Matin, GM of Erfan Group Alhaj Saiful Islam, Agrani Bank AGM Rafiqul Islam, along with businessmen and dignitaries from various classes of the district.
Before Iftar, special prayers were offered for the soul of the late Md. Erfan Ali, the founder chairman of Erfan Group, and prayers were offered for the countrymen.
