Bangladesh Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman, SBP, OSP, SGP, PSC formally inaugurated Military Collegiate School Faridpur (MCSF) and Army Public School and College Rajbari on Sunday (August 23, 2026).

In addition to maintaining peace, order, security and sovereignty of the country, the Bangladesh Army has long been playing an important role in developing the country’s education system, building human resources and producing well-educated, skilled and patriotic citizens by operating quality educational institutions.

In continuation of this, Military Collegiate School Faridpur has been established on the model of Military Collegiate School Khulna (MCSK) with the aim of developing ideal citizens with knowledge, discipline, patriotism, leadership qualities and human values. The institution will play an important role in providing modern and quality education to students as well as instilling discipline, leadership and patriotism in them.

On the other hand, Sena Public School and College Rajbari has been established to create modern, quality and up-to-date education opportunities for students in remote areas of Kalukhali Upazila of Rajbari district.
These two new educational institutions are expected to play a positive role in ensuring a disciplined, safe, modern and quality education environment for the students of this region, as well as improving the quality of education locally and developing citizens with skilled and humane values.
The Adjutant General of the Army, General Officer Commanding, 55 Infantry Division and Area Commander, Jessore Area, Army Headquarters and senior military officers of the concerned areas, along with various military and civilian officials were present at the inauguration ceremonies.
In addition, local dignitaries, teachers and students of the concerned educational institutions and invited guests were also present at the ceremony.
