Dhaka’s social and elite club, Uttara Club Limited, held a prayer and iftar mahfil.

The Iftar mahfil and club members’ meeting was held on Friday afternoon, March 14, with a religious solemnity.

The current president of the club, the current Board Members, former presidents, senior members of the club, high-ranking government officials, journalists and high-ranking personalities of the country were present.

From the afternoon, the club’s president, prominent businessman Mohammad Faisal Taher, and the current Board Members, Hassan Ibn Ghiyas Sadi, Salman Mahmud, Captain Fariel Bilkis Ahmed, Mosharraf Hossain, Md. Golam Mawla, ABM Monowarul Islam Bhuiyan, Dr. Nannu Mia, and Md. Taimur Azad, respectively, welcomed the guests. The club premises were filled to the brim with the meeting of more than a thousand guests.

Speaking about the occasion, the current president of Uttara Club, Mr. Faisal Taher, said, “If we get everyone’s sincere cooperation, we would like to continue to celebrate the club’s various programs in a grand manner.”

Before Iftar, special prayers and supplications are offered for the welfare of the country and the nation.
