DBL Group Acquires Glory Textile & Apparels Limited

DBL Group has officially acquired Glory Textile & Apparels Limited, further strengthening its presence in the textile and apparel industry. The formal handover ceremony took place on March 17, 2025, at the DBL Group Corporate Office.

The event was graced by Abdul Wahed, Chairman; M. A. Jabbar, Managing Director; M. A. Rahim, Vice Chairman; and M. A. Quader (Anu), Deputy Managing Director and Group CEO, along with other senior officials of DBL Group. The former owners and key executives of Glory Textile & Apparels Limited were also in attendance. Additionally, senior officials from Standard Chartered Bank and Pubali Bank PLC, the key financing partners for the acquisition, were present, marking the occasion as a significant milestone.

The following day, Managing Director M. A. Jabbar, visited the factory, accompanied by directors and senior officials, to oversee operations and mark the beginning of this new chapter for the company.
