Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport, a renowned property of IHG Hotels & Resorts, will host ‘Imperial Flavors of China’—a colorful celebration of Chinese cuisine, culture, and heritage—from August 13 to 19, 2026.
At this special dinner buffet, hosted at the Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport’s Mosaic, guests will be able to enjoy a mix of traditional Chinese delicacies, Asian-inspired dishes, and signature desserts.
The hotel’s culinary team has specially prepared a dinner buffet featuring Malai Go, Jian Dui Bassemble, Classic Chinese Egg Tart, Traditional Mooncake, Eight-Treasure Rice Pudding or Babao Fun, Almond Jelly with Lychee and Chinese Banana Fritters. Asian flavours include Khao Niu Mamuang, Coconut Tapioca Pudding with Mango and Pomelo and Five-Spice Chocolate Chiffon Cake. There will also be a special arrangement of seven types of local sweets.
In addition to the meal, guests will be able to enjoy Chinese cultural performances throughout the week. These will include various traditional Chinese cultural performances, including a lively dragon dance, which will further enhance the atmosphere of Chinese culture, tradition and festival throughout the event.
The opening ceremony of ‘Imperial Flavors of China’ was inaugurated by Mr. Sun Xin, Station Manager of Air China. This marks the official start of this week-long special celebration of Chinese food, culture and heritage at Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport.
