His Excellency Mr. Victor Hugo Echeverri Jaramillo, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia to Bangladesh, presented his credentials to the Hon’ble President of Bangladesh, Mohammad Shahabuddin, in a formal ceremony at Bangabhaban on Monday (February 10).
The President welcomed the newly appointed Ambassador and emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Colombia. Both sides expressed their commitment to enhancing cooperation in trade, investment, culture, and education.
President Shahabuddin expressed his optimism that under the leadership of Ambassador Victor Hugo Echeverri Jaramillo, the relations between the two countries would reach new heights. The Ambassador reaffirmed his dedication to fostering closer ties and assured full cooperation in strengthening diplomatic engagements.
Senior officials from both sides were present at the ceremony.
