Chinese Ambassador meets Trade Adviser to strengthen Bangladesh-China trade cooperation

Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Mr. Yao Wen met with Honorable Trade Adviser to the Interim Government Mr. Sheikh Bashir Uddin on Wednesday (July 16, 2025) in a courtesy call.

During the meeting, they held fruitful discussions on further strengthening bilateral trade and investment cooperation. Views were exchanged on various potential sectors to further enrich the existing economic partnership between the two countries.

Ambassador Yao Wen described China’s economic relations with Bangladesh as very important and expressed his interest in working together in the future. On the other hand, Trade Adviser Sheikh Bashir Uddin called China as one of the most important development partners of Bangladesh.
